Recently, at the invitation of Professor Erick M. Carreira, editor-in-chief of the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), the research team of Professor Liu Runhui from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, ECUST published a Perspective paper entitled “Recent Advances andFuture Developments in the Preparation of Polypeptides via N-Carboxyanhydride(NCA) Ring-Opening Polymerization” (DOI: 10.1021/jacs.4c05382) .

This paper is first-authored by Wu Yueming, a specially appointed associate researcher of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and co- corresponding authored by Wu Yueming and Professor Liu Runhui. This achievement was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
