Recently, the research group of Professor Liu Runhui from the School of Materials, ECUST has made new achievements in the field of β -peptide synthesis. The related research article entitled“Controllable Polymerization of N-Substituted β-Alanine N-Thiocarboxyanhydrides for ConvenientSynthesis of Functional Poly(β-peptoid)s” was published in CCS Chemistry, the flagship journal of Chinese Chemical Society.

The article is co-first authored by Xiao Ximian, a doctoral studentof ECUST, and Zhou Min, a postdoctoral researcher of ECUST and it was corresponding authored by Professor Liu Runhui of ECUST. This research has been financailly supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
