Recently, the research group of Professor Li Zhimin from the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering, ECUST has made new progress in the direction of enzymatic pH adaptability engineering. Chemical Engineering Journal published the related research article under the title of “Endogenous microenvironmental engineering through targeted alteration of salt bridge network can effectively regulate enzymatic pH adaptation”.

The article is first authored by Chung Lin, a doctoral candidate in the School of Bioengineering, ECUST, and is corresponding authored by Professor Li Zhimin. The research has been financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program, Tianjin Synthetic Biotechnology Innovation Ability Promotion Project and Zhang Jiangshu Youbo Cultivation Program of ECUST.
