Recently, Metabolic Engineering, an authoritative journal in the field of bioengineering, published online the latest research progress of Wang Fengqing’s research group within Wei Dongzhi’s Research Team of Luhuasheng Institute of Biotechnology, College of Bioengineering, on “High-yield Terpene by Yeast Cell Factory”.

The main experimental work of this research paper was completed by Doctoral candidates Zhu Zhantao and Du Mengmeng, with Associate Professor Wang Fengqing as their supervisor. The paper is first authored by Zhu Zhantao and corresponding autored by Wang Fengqing. The related research work was also under supervision of Professor Wei Dongzhi, director of Luhuasheng Institute of Biotechnology, College of Bioengineering, and was strongly supported by the team of Luhuasheng Institute of Biotechnology, and was financially supported by the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
