Recently, the research team of Professor Zhu Weihong introduced FNP to prepare organic nano-photocatalyst for the first time, developed hydrophilic soluble conjugated polymer through molecular engineering, and obtained organic nano-photocatalyst aqueous solution with uniform dispersion and stable properties with FNP method. The research article was published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. under the title of “Engineering Nanoparticulate Organic Photocatalysts via a Scalable Flash Nanoprecipitation Process for Efficient Hydrogen Production”.

The research work was completed by doctoral candidate Yu Miaojie and postdoctoral fellow Zhang Weiwei under the guidance of Professor Zhu Weihong and Professor Wu Yongzhen.The research work was financially supported by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Basic Science Center Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Major Project and the “111” Talents Introduction Program.
